Hello and welcome to our Year 1 and Year 2 class page. There will be lots of photographs and information here to keep you in touch with what we’ve been up to in our class, so please remember to take a look every now and then.

We will be enjoying all sorts of learning indoors and outdoors, as well as fun things and adventures, this will be a great way to share them with your family and friends.

If you have any feedback about our page, it would be good to hear from you.

Mrs Gardner

Our class made some wonderful autumn themed pictures using natural materials collected from the school field.

We hope you will enjoy looking at them!

Our class had the chance to take part in a special yoga session.  We learned what Yoga is and the benefits it can bring, and had a lot of fun learning all the different skills and positions.

For Bonfire Night, we took part in an enterprise project to raise money for our class fund.  We created chocolate apples and sold these to the rest of the school.  We made nearly £50 which we are going to use to purchase materials for our project work!

Our first parent drop in of the year was very well attended - thank you to everybody who dropped by!  It is great to show our parents and carers all the great work we are doing in class - especially our display for our Great Fire of London topic work.

We investigated materials to see which are waterproof and would float.

During Maths Week Mrs Gardner taught Key Stage 2 measuring distances at our very own Blackwell Airport.
